About Us
section-seprator

The traveling tearoom that comes to you! You choose the location and guests. I provide everything else – the tea, food, linens, teacups, tableware, silverware, even the soothing music if you like. I will set your table, cater and serve the delicious food, brew and serve the tea, and stay afterwards to do the dishes so you can focus on your guests. I can also host your indoor or outdoor event at my home for a complete pampered experience for you and your guests! Our afternoon tea menu includes delicious finger sandwiches, sweet and savory bites, homemade scones, fresh fruit, fresh-baked pastries, and scrumptious cakes. Food and tea are served using vintage dishes, china, cake stands, towers, and pretty teapots. The Traveling Teapot is available for any occasion – parties, showers, birthdays for little girls, birthdays for girls who are young at heart, get-togethers, hen parties, bridge clubs, gentlemen lunches, business meetings, just because it is a Tuesday, and more!

Hi, I am Bita,

the owner of The Traveling Teapot
section-seprator

I have been a tea enthusiast for many years. My grandmother Billie Louise taught me the joy of sipping a cup of tea, engaging in soft, polite conversation, and enjoying time well-spent with loved ones. She also inspired my love for baking, vintage finds, antiques, and an obsession with aprons! I have been hosting tea parties for many years, and I would love to help you host yours. The Traveling Teapot’s afternoon tea menu is crafted using my family’s southern-inspired recipes. Which I am sure come from their mothers, grandmothers, and their church cookbooks!
